The IAP is dedicated to the advancement of Pathology through educational exchanges worldwide. Collectively, we provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of advances in the understanding of pathologic processes and for the presentation and critical evaluation of scientific, technological and methodological advances. Our goal, and a fundamental role of the IAP, is to provide access to the vast store of valid, currently authenticated and trusted knowledge for questioning minds.

Education is the prime mandate of the IAP, more than 14.000 pathologists are members of our organization covering the five Continents. Today Latin American pathology has a strong presence in the “Word of Pathology” but without doubt, after the Cancun Congress will reach the highest place that their pathologists’ merit in our medical and scientific community.

Hosted by the Mexican Division, this is an excellent opportunity for pathologists to exchange knowledge, experiences and the latest developments in the field with experts from all around the world.

Hellenic Division Newsletter
The Hellenic Division has just published their latest newsletter. A highlight is an article on the Division's latest annual Mount Pelion Intensive Courses in Pathology, that takes place in Agria, by the seashore of Mount Pelion. The next Mount Pelion Intensive course in this beautiful location, on Hematolymphoid Tumor Pathology, will take place on May 18-20, 2025.
Funding for Educational Events and Ambassadors
Funding is available to support Division and Assembly educational events in under-served regions of the world, and for IAP Ambassadors. The IAP Ambassador program is especially designed to provide funding for those who have been invited to these areas in order to provide pathology educational presentations and other services.
